Scott Dotson Sr.
Dr. Scott Dotson Sr. is a 2016
graduate of Georgetown Baptist
Bible institute, under the direction
of Dr. Lee Davis. He was saved in
1991 during a 5 year enlistment in
the United States Marine Corps.
He surrendered to the call to
preach in 2004. He pastored Lusk
Chapel Baptist Church in Spring
Creek, N.C. from 2005 -2008. He
taught at the Grace Baptist Bible
Institute for 12 years. He has
pastored the Little Ivy Baptist
Church in Mars Hill, N.C. since
2008.

Robert Jarvis
Dr. Robert Jarvis, Th.B., M.B.S.,
Th.D., is a graduate of Trinity
Baptist Bible College in Asheville,
N.C. He earned his Master of
Biblical Studies Degree from the
Believer’s Institute for Biblical
Studies and his Doctorate from
Andersonville Theological
Seminary. He studied two years in
the Engineering program of the
University of North Carolina in
Asheville. He taught for four years
at Calvary Baptist Bible Institute in
Greenwood. He served as the
Dean of Students for the
Believer’s Institute for Biblical
Studies from 2008 until 2012
under the direction of Dr. Edward
McAbee. He also was the
President of B.I.B.S. from 2013
until 2020. He has pastored
Welcome Baptist Church in Union,
South Carolina since 1995.
Robert Jones
Evangelist Robert Jones
graduated from Anchor Baptist
Bible College where he earned his
Bachelor of Theology. He also
graduated from Grace Baptist
Bible College where he earned his
Master of Theology. He has
served at Anchor Baptist Church in
Pisgah Forest, NC under the
leadership of Pastor Dr. Randy
Barton from 2005 till the present.
He is also the Dean of Students at
Anchor Baptist Bible Institute and
Director of Missions at Anchor
Baptist Missions International for
North America, Europe, Middle
East and Asia. He also is a
traveling Evangelist and works in
missions around the world.
Faculty & Staff
Todd McKeehan
Dr. Todd McKeehan graduated
from Grace Baptist Bible College
where he earned his Master of
Theology and his Doctor of
Theology degrees. He pastored in
Western North Carolina from 2003
to 2008. He taught in the Blue
Ridge Baptist Bible College, and in
the Grace Baptist Bible College.
Since 2009, he has been with
Prayer Baptist Missions Inter-
national working in missions &
evangelism.
Andy Wells
Dr. Andy Wells is the pastor of
the Galilee Baptist Church in
Monroe, NC and has served as
their pastor since June of 2001.
Pastor Wells, in addition to
pastoring the Galilee Baptist
Church he preaches as an
itinerant, in revivals, Bible
conferences, and camps around
the nation. Pastor Wells has a
passion for teaching and training
young men for the ministry.
Pastor Wells taught for 5 years at
the Carolina Baptist College
before joining the faculty of Grace
Baptist Bible Institute (formerly
Georgetown Baptist Bible
College) in 2010. He is an avid
outdoorsman who enjoys hunting
and fishing. Dr. Wells and his
Wife Beverley have been married
since 1985 and have 5 grown
children and 6 grandchildren. The
Wells’ reside on a hobby farm in
Pageland, SC.
Doug Raynes
Pastor Doug Raynes, B.S.,
M.Ed., earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business
Administration and a Master's
degree in Education from Bob
Jones University. Born in Tampa,
Florida, he moved to the upstate of
South Carolina in 1971 when his
father became the pastor of
Pleasant View Baptist Church in
Taylors. He grew up in the ministry
there and developed a heart for
the Lord and a heart for serving
others, teaching Sunday school,
leading the music, and working
with the youth. He served as the
principal of Pleasant View
Christian Academy in Taylors, S.C.
for over 16 years and Mountain
View Christian Academy in
Cowpens, S.C. for over 5 years.
He taught in the Believer’s Institute
for Biblical Studies for 2 years and
Grace Baptist Bible Institute for 5
years. He has served as the pastor
of Progress Baptist Church in
Hendersonville, N.C. since 2010.
Ashley Melton
Ashley is the Administrative
Assistant of Advance Bible
College. She handles phone
calls, emails, accounts payable,
registration, grade reports, etc.
She can be reached through the

text) or the office email address.
Ashley was homeschooled all
throughout grade school and
graduated in 2014. She attended
the Believer’s Institute for Biblical
Studies and graduated in 2018
with her Bachelor of Biblical
Studies Degree. She was saved
in 2003 at the age of 7 years old.
She serves alongside her parents
at Welcome Baptist Church in
Union, S.C. where her dad, Dr.
Robert Jarvis, is the pastor.
Ashley has been involved in
teaching Sunday School,
children’s Bible club, working with
the youth group, music, and
taught preschool at Union
Christian Day School in Union,
S.C.
Bruce Robinson
Pastor Bruce Robinson was
saved as a 5 years old boy, and
surrendered to the call to preach
on September 1, 1982 at the age
of 13. He attended Tabernacle
Bible College in Greenville, SC,
his freshman year, and later
continued his education and
graduated from the Trinity Baptist
Bible College in Asheville, NC. He
pastored Bee Tree Baptist Church,
Swannanoa, NC, from 1988-1990,
and Clayton Avenue Baptist
Church, Asheville, NC, from 1991-
2006. He returned to the church
in which he grew up, Swannanoa
Heights Baptist Church, in 2006,
as the Assistant Pastor/Youth
Pastor (2006-2008). He has had
the privilege of serving as the
pastor of Swannanoa Heights
Baptist Church since August 2008.
In addition to pastoring, he worked
at the Happy Valley Christian
Academy, Asheville, NC, from
1997-1998; helped Bro. Lee Davis
start the Georgetown Baptist
Academy, Leicester, NC, in 1998,
where he served as the principal
from 1998-2001; and has taught at
Temple Baptist School, Asheville,
NC, from 2001 to the present.
Pastor Bruce has been married to
his wife Susan for 28 years, and
they have two daughters,
Rebekah and Addie.
Steve Williamson
Pastor Steve Williamson is the
pastor of the Gethsemane Baptist
Church in Lexington, SC. and has
served as their pastor since 2003.
As a youth and teenager, Pastor
Williamson pursued a baseball
career and enjoyed a measure of
success as a pitcher for Irmo high
school. He had a promising future
in baseball, but the Lord had
other plans. In 1987, at the age of
sixteen, Pastor Steve came to
Gethsemane Baptist church and
was saved. He was called to
preach about three months later.
His wife Jennifer grew up at
Gethsemane and was saved in
January of 1992. She and Pastor
Steve were married in June of
1993. Immediately following
marriage, they served as
missionaries in the Turks and
Caicos Islands for four years.
They then returned to serve in
their home church for some
years, and Pastor Steve became
the assistant pastor. In 2003,
Pastor Steve became the senior
pastor of Gethsemane Baptist
Church.
